We have stylists with a variety of haircutting specialities including long-layers, shag cuts, all textures of hair, pixies, bobs, alternative creative looks, and barbering services. Jovi Salon is for everyone including children! Our pricing is genderless and are based on the level of detail and length of hair.
The best way to be paired up with a stylist who would match with your ideal haircut would be to text our front desk at 757-754-6577 with photos of your current hair and photos of what you're hoping to achieve. Our pricing for haircuts is based on a level system. A stylist's level is determined by their demands, not level of talent. Be sure to ask about our budget-friendly apprenticeship haircuts.

Can I bring my child in for a curl cut/ coaching session to learn how to correctly style it?Yes! We love working with children and feel passionate about helping parents feel confident about curly styling and correct product usage. We do require a free consultation before booking to ensure your child’s hair is prepped properly before the cut/coaching, and to help the child feel more comfortable.

How should I arrive with my hair for my curl cut or coaching?We ask that you would come in with your hair down and naturally styled. Naturally styled could mean your regular curl routine or something softly styled. Without us being able to see your natural curl pattern, we may not be able to provide the best and most cohesive cut for your hair that day. If your hair is pulled back or stretched out we may suggest rescheduling or we can do our best to give you a cut best for your curls.
